Apex Building and Groundwork are, with our family run business of 30 years’ experience in all aspects of Groundwork ideally situated to service the South of England. We undertake all aspects of groundwork and civil engineering; this includes commercial, industrial and domestic projects. Amongst our many services are; footings, kerbing, block paving, paved areas, septic tanks, drainage, road construction, sewer works, retaining walls, swimming pools and driveways.

From the initial budgeting, surveying and planning we pride ourselves in completing all works to a very high standard. We achieve this by our ongoing training within our workforce. Each employee receives up-to-date training in new developments and techniques. This enables us at Apex to retain our long standing relationship with some of the leading construction companies within the UK.

Where necessary, on our much larger contracts we have a pool of proven highly qualified sub-contractors of various trades with a wealth of experience to help deliver excellence every time. We can work to times set to minimise disturbance to your or your client’s work place or business.

All our staff are properly equipped and fully trained in health and safety policies and procedures. Our Health and Safety Policy can be viewed on request and all necessary risk assessments, method statements and control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) sheets can be viewed at the start or during any contract.

We have extensive insurance cover for all projects; public liability insurance for £10m and employer’s liability for £5m. Any other insurances relevant to a particular contract will be arranged prior to commencement.
